Important information:
The trekking tours with dromedaries take place from mid-September to mid-May.
Hiking and trekking:
Physical Fitness:
For shorter hikes, a normal level of physical fitness is sufficient. For multi-day trekking tours, a good general level of fitness is recommended.
Terrain:
We hike through a variety of desert landscapes, including sand dunes, rocky deserts and occasionally uneven terrain.
Temperatures:
In the Sahara, temperatures can vary considerably between day and night.
Equipment:
Comfortable, well-worn hiking shoes, sun protection, headwear and clothing suitable for the season are important. It is also possible to purchase a traditional headscarf before departure.
Baggage:
On multi-day trekking tours, dromedaries can take over the transport of luggage and equipment.
Food and Water:
Meals and the necessary drinking water supplies are organised according to the agreed itinerary.
Stay overnight:
Wild camping in a traditional nomad tent:
Far away from tourist camps and the crowds, we set up our traditional nomad tent in the heart of the Sahara.
Simple, authentic and surrounded by nothing but nature. A wonderful opportunity to experience a little of the nomadic way of life.
Sleeping under the stars:
For those who wish to feel even closer to nature, there is the possibility of sleeping directly under the star-filled sky.
Without a tent between you and the sky, you can experience the vastness and silence of the Sahara in a truly special way.
An experience that often becomes one of the most unforgettable memories of a desert journey.
Spend the night in a simple bivouac:
For those who prefer a little more comfort spending the night in a simple desert bivouac is a another option.
This combines an authentic Sahara experince with basic accommodation and a little more shelter.
You decide how you would like to experience the Sahara. Whether in a nomad's tent, under the open sky, or in a simple bivouac – we design your trekking tour according to your wishes.
And sometimes the greatest luxury is precisely the simple things: silence, a fire, a sky full of stars and the feeling of being far away from everyday life.

Trekking with off-road vehicles:
The same basic principles apply to trekking with off-road vehicles as described above.
Accommodation and comfort:
Our tour prices include accommodation in a simple, comfortable desert bivouac. The tents are traditionally furnished and offer an authentic experience in the heart of the Sahara. Showers and toilets are located outside the tents and are shared.
For those who prefer a little more comfort, we offer the option of staying in a more luxurious desert tent with a private shower and toilet.
The surcharge for this option is 1500 MAD for 2 people for the entire tour.
Übernachtung-Komfort
Payment and cancellation terms:
When booking your journey, a deposit of 50% of the total trip price is required. This will be transferred to our Swiss bank account.
The remaining 50% will be paid in cash on site upon commencement of the trip.
Cancellation and refund:
We understand that travel plans can sometimes change unexpectedly.
As soon as your booking is confirmed, we begin organising your individual journey.
This includes reserving and paying for dromedaries, guides and other services required for your tour.
Since we begin organizing the trip individually immediately after booking, we reserve and pay for things like camels, guides and other necessary services in advance .
If you are unable to take part in your journey, any costs already incurred that cannot be refunded to us will be deducted from your deposit.
The remaining balance will, of course, be refunded to you.
We believe that our payment and cancellation conditions should be fair and transparent, both four our guests and for our local partners who help prepare your journey.

Insurance:
It is the responsibility of the participants to obtain adequate travel, accident, and health insurance. We recommend checking your personal insurance coverage before departure.
